We have lost our beloved Cameron. JMML has claimed him. And while I type this through tears, I also rejoice because I know that Cameron is at peace now. His little, barely 7 year old body is no longer wracked with pain. He runs with the angels, his sweet cat, Frankie, at his heels.
We will always love you, Cameron, and we will NEVER forget how you brought such brightness, humor, and love to our lives. Rest in peace, wee bucko.
My heart is broken and my prayers are with you as you deal with this enormous loss. The journey was hard, the fight long and your loss immeasurable. I know you will think of him every day and there will always be a sense of loss … but your heart and memories of love and special times will carry you through the days ahead. I am so very sorry for your loss. May God be with you and your family and may the angels make a special place for your Cameron where he can be a boy again free of JMML, pain and filled with fun and freedom of childhood again.
Thank you so much. Cameron can rest now. He fought so long and so hard. And the fight continues. As long as JMML continues to attack, we shall not let down our guard. New soldiers step up to the front line, and we will stand beside them. We will stand. Amen!
