I can’t remember what chapter I’m on.  Suffice it to say that I’m finally able to see the light at the end of the tunnel on this 1/4 scale Miss Devon Aoki.  The sanding is finished.  Hooray!  I never thought I’d be able to say that.  I’m very happy about it.  🙂 🙂 🙂

I’m now having to blend with my acrylics and trusty brushes in an attempt to meld the sculpted material with the existing vinyl.  No easy task.  So far, I’ve painted almost a dozen thin coats, and I probably have that many more to go before I can even begin to think about the actual repaint to give the doll some life.  Right now, she is nothing more than a blank canvas, and she’s none to happy about it.  She’s trying to be patient, but I’m sure that lying around for days nude and without eyes isn’t much fun.
