On my favorite doll discussion board, the question of the day is, “What weird and unusual food combination do you love?” The answers have been interesting (an understatement), and the responses have been hilarious. Some days, it’s just SO good to laugh. Today, the weather is icky. It’s snowing AGAIN. As far as I’m concerned, the main reason for snow is a white Christmas. Christmas is over. Where’s Spring? The weather had me depressed. The question of the day on Doll Divas has changed my mood. Thanks, Doll Divas!
So…what’s cooking on the OSS stove today? I FINALLY finished an FR Homme re-root that I have been working on for days. Under normal circumstances, a full 1/6 scale re-root takes me anywhere from 2 to 3 days, working on and off throughout those days. Time on the heating pad eats up the time as I am only able to actually root hair while the vinyl is pliable. Fashion Royalty head vinyl is hard. Barbie head vinyl is much softer, so the re-roots are faster. Add to the hard vinyl, my “approaching-addiction” blogging (I never do things by half measures.) and real life interruptions, and well…I just have not dedicated myself properly to the Homme. However, he is finally finished. I am also doing some elaborate beading on a 1/4 scale project…my next Ebay starlet if all goes as planned. My beading music is by Pink Floyd. Nothing like tapping your toes to A Momentary Lapse of Reason. hmmmmmmmmmmmm I’m thinking that just might be a name for a future doll project. 🙂
LOL! Bloging is good and I love hearing what you are up to. But getting my Homme finished is even better…. well, I say finished I mean just his hair! You still got aways to go!!!! LOL Oh, and you have very strange eating habits!
I don’t make a habit of eating those sandwiches! LOL Too fattening. But, it’s fun once in awhile to gross out my daughter by making and eating one. Ha! Yes, your dude is sitting right here while I’m beading. He doesn’t know it yet, but I’m close to stripping his face off! He won’t be very happy about that. heeheeeeeeee
